One of Tristan’s favorite things are rainbows. The moon is his ultimate favorite but that would be kind of a boring craft project ☺️

I think one of God’s most amazing creations was the heavens and all that the sky contains.

My favorite bible verse. Psalms 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Genesis 1:16 “And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.” Wow, amazing, infinite.

This is a bonus blog post cause the girls are sleeping well today. Woohoo!

Cut 7 strips of card stock – Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet. I used a light blue card stock for the sky backround.

I added the phrase “Rainbows over you God’s blessed infinite vow”. It’s a saying I used as a kid to remember the colors of the rainbow. I added the word infinite for indigo.

Line your color strips the way you want them and tape them at one end.

If you need to you can trim the bottom edges or make your arch bigger in the next step.

I hope your sun looks a lot better than mine. Oh dear. It looks more like a dinosaur is eating my rainbow.

Tape the other end of the rainbow to form an arch. Tape two strips at a time. Add a cloud and you’re finished!

Practice saying the colors and tell the story of how God destroyed the whole earth with a flood. Saving Noah, his wife, 3 sons and two of every land animal kind.  After 40 days and 40 nights the earth dried up again and God put his bow in the sky as a promise to never destroy the earth again…with water.

I probably butchered the story so read it for yourself. Genesis 5:32-10:1

Now we are going outside to enjoy the sunshine!
